The car was 1st registered in January 1979, and will be ready for application of historic tax exemption in April 2020 at which point MOT is also exempt, but can still be tested voluntarily.
This superb 2 seater roadster is powered by the famous 2litre Ford Pinto engine as found in mk4 Cortinas and is fitted with a Ford 4 speed gear box and competition clutch.
The engine and running gear being of Ford origin means that even at 40 years old, spares are easy to find and not expensive to obtain.
The engine is naturally aspirated with a twin carb and runs perfectly and sounds great on the open road, fitted with stainless exhaust with twin tail pipe.
All 5 tyres are Firestone and were recently fitted. 
The JBA is built on a well engineered solid chassis and has mainly aluminium and GRP body parts, meaning that there is no rust problems.
All this results in a classic car that is easy to live with, allowing you to enjoy that by gone raw motoring experience.
